I have a habit of not sleeping well. My husband is a snorer. If I'm tired enough, his snoring doesn't bother me. But, if I wake up in the middle of the night - fagetaboutit - I'm NOT getting back to sleep! It's not that big of a deal if I don't have to function at the top of my game the next day. For now, I'm unemployed so if I don't get a good night's sleep, I can always take a nap the next day!
However, if I know that I have a big appointment/meeting/project the next day, I need to guarentee that I'm going to get a good night's sleep. That's when I turn to the Tylenol PM. I make sure I go to bed early so that I'm not taking the Tylenol PM any later than about 10pm but it really seems to help me get some good rest when I know I'm going to need it.
I hate taking any medication for any reason so I never take Tylenol PM two days in a row but this is an effective product for the times that I really need it.
