I bought the Vector travel cooler for our road trips. We travel several times a year and usually drive. I like this cooler okay, but it is not great. It will keep your food cold. The only problem is that you have to turn the cooler on about an hour before you are ready to put your food in it and go. It will cool faster if you put a freezer pack in it. Once the cooler gets cool and your items are in it, it will stay cool, but we usually keep the freezer pack in the cooler as it runs.
You can run this cooler in the car or the house. We have used it in hotel rooms and it will keep everything cold. When it runs, it is very loud, though.
The instructions say it will hold 14 cans, but we have never put that many cans in it. You can not put 14 cans in it if you have sandwiches or other things in the cooler.
The one thing I do like about the cooler is that you don't have to put ice in it and have the mess of water in your cooler. I have never used the warm mode.
