Being a university student requires teadious amounts of data saving and transferring from home to uni. After using an old Mp3/Usb Drive for over 4 years, i managed to upgrade to a newer USB FlashDrive with a capacity of 4gb. The Verbatim 4GB Flash Drive weighs aproximately 15 - 30 grams, taking up an area of about 1cm by 4cm, with a thickness of barely half a centimeter. With the ability to hold 4gb of data, it's capable of holding hundreds of songs, a small dvd, thousands upon thousands of word documents and basically anything you desire. And being new it runs on 2.0 firmware, making it faster then ever.

Due to it weighing so little, it seems to be very hard to damage. It has a blue cover which slides around the whole product, which also provides protection of the usb output. Unlike other usb devices that seem to be getting smaller and smaller, the size of the Verbatim 4GB Flash Drive is about as small as a storage device should be, any smaller and it's very easy to lose. However i am currently not facing this deliema as it fits nice and snug on my key ring, making sure that my files are everywhere I go.

No matter what you decide, if you do purchase the Verbatim 4GB Flash Drive, make sure you look after it and avoid any contact with water or speakers, as these are a known killer for portable storage devices.
