Having had my hair permed for about ten years or more, I fancied a change so I let the perm grow out and got my hair layered, however when I wash my hair it tends to go frizzy around the ends so looking on Ebay I came across these straighteners, The Vidal Sassoon Pro Elite cost around £12 plus posting and packaging.

Brief description

So a few days past and eventually my straighteneners arrived, Great I thought no more frizzy hair! anyway they come complete with a grey heat resistant storage bag, the straighteners and an instruction leaflet, I must add that the wire is quite long which I have found handy due to where my plug sockets are situated. Looking through the instuctions the straighteners are pretty straight forward to use. They are black in color with the "Vidal sassoon Pro Elite" logo printed on the front in white lettering.

Appliance features:

Ceramic Heating Plates

"On" indicator lights

Professional cord

"On and off" switch

Fisrt use

The straighteners are simple to use, plug them in set the temperture and wait while they heat. The temperture dial can be found at the side of the straighteners and has numbers from 0 - 25 so it's easy enough to set the chosen temperture. However one bad point I found was that it takes a while for the straighteners to heat, once heated they do a great job on my hair, just bare in mind that I am mainly straightening my ends and I do have fine hair.

The instructional leaflet is easy to understand and gives instructions on storing, cleaning and how to use these straighteners, also the straighteners are under guarantee for two years, although this doesn't apply if you purchase them of Ebay, I have been using them for about six months now and so far so good they have worked fine (touch wood)
