Where would the winter season be, without plaid shirts? Years ago, plaid shirts were a defining statement among men, who cut down trees for a living. These days, everyone wears plaid shirts and jackets because they are a seasonal statement.
My oldest boy, Brian loves his plaid shirts. If I ever have any issues with his choices, Brian seems to have an expensive taste in his plaids. So, I made him a deal this year. Brian could get two, good plaid shirts, instead of four, cheaper ones, for the cold season. He took me up on it.
We dropped into "Abercrombie". They had a few plaid shirts in their showroom, display window, that caught my son's attention. It took Brian, all of ten minutes to decide on his two plaid shirts.
One of his choices was, the Abercrombie line, "deer brook - brown. It is 100% soft brushed cotton, super soft with a vintage design, classic fit with two vest pockets. It is a great looking shirt. He wanted it about 3 sizes larger. I had no objections to this, then I could wear it too, but Brian's mom said, "No!"; beside the fact, they didn't have it that big. So, we bought Brian the right size, plaid shirt.
This is his favorite shirt. His best friend's mom asked Brian where he got it from and my son told her, he forgot. Jennie called up my wife last week, to ask where the shirt came from, because our son did not want his best friend wearing the same shirt he had. I wonder, what gets into my son, sometimes?
