While I am shopping I continually notice the ever rising price of shampoos. Performance wise, I will say that as many shampoos as I have tried I have yet to see any real difference in shampoos except for the price. Whenever I buy shampoos I usually stick with one or two brands that are very cheap yet perform as well as any bottle of expensive shampoo.

One of my favorite low price brands is a shampoo that has been around for many years and it's Alberto VO5. It comes in many varieties and aromas such as Green tea, Blackberry sage tea, Vanilla Mint, Raspberry, Freesia, Kiwi & lime, Strawberry, Passion fruit, and they have the original formula which is available for normal hair, extra body and the split end formula. The original formula ones are supposed to be full of vitamins. Each of these shampoos come with a matching conditioner which you buy separately.

I am currently using the normal hair formula, which is suppose to have vitamin C and E in it but I have tried most of these shampoos at one time or the other (with the exception of the tea ones) and I have no complaint with them. They leave my hair clean and smelling nice. I occasionally will stray off and try a more expensive shampoo but I always end up coming back to a shampoo like VO5. Generally VO5 shampoos can be found in stores for anywhere from .99 cents to 1.29. This product is a good deal in my opinion.
