I purchased my 2000 Volvo S80 T6 used with 58, 000 miles on it in February 2006 from the Honda delaership I work for. It cought my eye, as I see all sorts of vehicles come through our dealership. But this vehicle reeked me all over!! This car has beautiful body lines and I was lucky, it's a black vehicle so the color makes it look classy as well as sporty. The wheels are 17in wheels with low profile tires made for great handling and preformance. The grille looking classy and bold and the rear lights angled and structured defining a luxury look. This vehicle would also fit our household needs; four doors for passengers and my son, front seating large enough for my 6'4" 260lb fiance`, great trunk space for everything I could possible need (shopping, golf clubs, fundraising projects). But had all the extras I could ask for: Turbo for quick driving, moonroof, leather heated seats, 6 in dash CD player, cassette player, dual climate control, cruise control, tilt and telescopic wheel, technotronic control, DTS stability, ABS braking, power windows with auto up and down features, keyless entry, day time running lights, a management system (for tripometer, MPG, miles left to drive, a message board), steering wheel controls for cruise control and radio, cd, tape controls and a winter/wet mode for extra safety! This car as you know is probably the safety car on the road! Wow what a car. You do have to get used to the turning radius(my Ford Expedition can turn on a dime but not this car) it does make wide turns and the cupholders could use some attention, but the car is amazing.

I purchased this car with 58, 000 miles on her and I put 28, 000 the first year I had her and now she has 112, 600 miles and she still is going strong. I have to admit I do regular oil changes and maintanence to the vehicle every 5000 miles (I should be doing every 3750 with the mileage) but this car has held up. I have had very little problems or repairs. Unfortunately, repairs can be hefty for a luxury vehicle and the car does require a higher octane of fuel resulting in higher fuel costs, but I can't resist driving her! I just love the way the car rides and feels, as well as how I feel driving her. My fiance` and I have talked about getting a new vehicle, but we always end up asking, "Why? Our Volvo runs great, looks great and I love her." I will keep driving until she dies or falls apart and I don't see that happening soon!!
