I loved this journal. I spent a long time looking for the right journal for me to keep during my pregnancy. I wanted something that really had a space for everything and that can be hard to find. I found this one at a great price on amazon and decided to give it a try. This is a 144 page spiral bound book. The pages are very thick as well and the book is very easy to write in.

It was amazing how much stuff this book included! This book gives you a place to record all of the joys, fears, and memorable moments of pregnancy. You can write about all of your emotions each month and each new experience. There are also many places for pictures of your baby shower, belly pictures, thank you cards, etc. This is a terrific keepsake and goes on from the day you find out about your pregnancy up to your birth story and first days home with the baby. There is a section for doctors appointments too. I thought that I would run out of space but even though I had appointments every few weeks from day one, I had plenty enough room for all the details of my appointments. It ask questions about each trimester and has a seperate section for each month of the pregnancy with different questions.

This book is a lot better to use than a plain journal. It has a way of bringing out the real emotions by asking the questions that we may not answer on our own. This is honestly one of my most valuable possessions now. It is not as much for the baby as the mom. I do want my daughter to read it when she is older though and see what it is really like going through pregnancy and see what was going through my mind. It even had a place for my dreams during pregnancy!

The downside of this book is that it sorta forgets about the dad. There is nothing ask about the father. I did manage to write about him often and give him a few pages of the journal to write what he wanted but it would have been nice if he would have had at least one section to talk about his feelings and family tree or history. Also the actual journal part is pretty small. But since it goes through so many other questions and sections it really doesn't become an issue.

I plan on buying this again if I ever have another child. It will be great to have something I can look back on and compare pregnancies. This is so valuable to me and I know it would be to any mom. This would be a great gift for a newly pregnant woman who may not go ahead and get it for themselves.
