We stopped at Wall Drug on our way to the Black Hills in South Dakota. After seeing road sign after road sign for miles we thought we would check this place out.

Please do yourself a favorite and just keep driving by this place. It is not worth it.

No one in my family liked it. Basically it is shop after shop connected by hallways and tunnels. The stuff I saw was either cheap toys, western wear or jewelry.

They do have a backyard that has some good photo props, but to me that still doesn't make it worth the stop.

My son did like the T-Rex that roars every 12 minutes.

We decided since we made the stop we should grab a bite to eat. We ate at the main café and it seemed very overpriced and just OK food. I got a chicken sandwich with fries, my wife and my son both got a grilled cheese with fries, we each got a small drink and the total for this meal was $21.00!

We found this place very boring to tell you the truth. I did not see what the appeal of Wall Drug is. I just don't get it. Maybe if we were into western wear or things of that nature it would appeal to us more.

I know if we are ever on Highway 90 and we see the exit for Wall Drug we will just keep driving by.
