My husband gave me the DVD of the movie WALL-E for Christmas and we watched it Christmas evening. It's another cute movie by Disney/Pixar, and I think the entire family would find it entertaining.
WALL-E is a lonely little robot who has spent hundreds of years doing his job, which is collecting and compacting trash. Planet Earth has become uninhabitable because of being polluted by too much trash, but a whole new world opens up for WALL-E when he befriends a modern robot who is sent to earth to check out whether the planet can support life again. Adventures abound and the story is entertaining and fast-paced.
This movie is approximately 98 minutes long and rated G. The DVD also contains bonus features, such as deleted scenes, audio commentary with the director of the movie, Andrew Stanton, a few animated short films and more.
I would recommend WALL-E. I enjoyed it, and even though the movie is mostly about robots with very little talking, it is a cute story and the characters are lovable (though metallic). Another winner.
