Walnut Creek Amphitheatre is a wonderful place to go to watch your favorite bands. It is located in Raleigh North Carolina. There are nine parking lots located around the amphitheatre. The parking fee is almost always included in the ticket price. There is however premier parking that is located closer to the entrance to the amphitheatre with an additional fee. There are seats that are located under a shelter in front of the stage. Most of the time when I go I usually sit in the grass of the lawn. Every seat on the lawn has an excellent view of the stage. There is also an area on the lawn that is designated for families only. In this area there is no smoking or alcohol. You can bring a blanket or chair to sit on the lawn or you can rent a chair once you get there. There are concession stands that are located on both sides of the amphitheatre. The bathrooms are also located in the area of the concession stands. I have seen many concerts at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. Some of the concerts that I have seen are: The Eagles, Rod Stewart, Aerosmith, Kenny Chesney, Poison, Kid Rock and Alabama just to name a few. There is always a large group of people heading to the bathrooms and concession stands whenever there is a break in between the acts. Leaving the amphitheatre can be a little hectic also. Traffic is always horrible. It is almost worth leaving the shows early just to avoid the traffic situation.
