My family and I have been fortunate enough to visit the Walt Disney World Resort many times. We enjoy the characters, the variety of restaurants, the resorts and especially the parks. Our last trip, we enjoyed the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time. We went twice during our 10 day stay. While the weather was extremely hot and humid, the parade and the fireworks were WELL worth the heat! The musical soundtrack for the event could not have been more fun! It featured lots of music from the movie The Nightmare before Christmas, which I thought was very fitting. Our favorite part of the parade were the grave diggers! Another special Halloween event that my dear daughter enjoyed was the Haunted Pirate Cruise which launched from the Polynesian Resort. It didn't leave until 8:45 and lasted until approximately 10 p.m. She was all smiles when she returned! The pirate ship was covered in cobwebs and fun decorations! I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys Halloween to visit Walt Disney World this time of year!
