My little ones love their Welcome Home Playhouse. It is very big. I can fit into it and also sit in a child's chair too. The house has two bay windows on either side---two windows with shutters on each end---a clock--a table that folds away for more room---a phone which operates on batteries and can be taken off the wall and carried with them---a front door with a window---a plastic welcome mat at the front door----a door bell--a sky light----plastic stove with knobs and a sink with faucet attached to one wall. I thought the kids would love the doorbell but they are so busy inside with their toy dinnerware that they don't even care about it. Go figure. It's really the simple things that keep children entertained, interacting and playing with one another/learning by self and from others. If the price of this house scares you, I could understand in this tough economy. I see playhouses in the paper and yard/garage sales so you could find this house cheaper; maybe even online. You would be amazed how someones used goods can be your treasure. If you happen to find a used playhouse without all the parts, the company does sell kits for 30.00 with the accessories. The nice thing about these playhouses is they can be used inside or outside. Just give it a good cleaning and bring it in for the winter. Mine was &still is set up in my dining room right now. I will be moving it outdoors real soon. My kids really love playing in their house. I enjoy watching them at the table whipping up pancakes in their toy bowls with spatulas. They learn so much so fast! We put a rug in the house so the kids weren't on the bare wood floor. There are two child rocker chairs inside. The kids take pillows/blankets/toys and stuffed animals inside the house. This is such a fun time for them especially in winter when the days are so cold and they can't go outside at all. I highly encourage the use of a playhouse for your children. The kids feel like grown ups with their own little house and most of all their own special space.
