I had to read this book after finishing Twilight. It drove me crazy trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Of course, I had no idea I was in for a major disappointment.
First off, the publisher needs to learn how to proofread. Throughout the series I spotted many mistakes that would have been easily fixed had the publisher bothered to proofread or at least read the book. That shows how much they care about the quality.
Secondly, the plot this time isn't as exciting. The beginning was perhaps the most entertaining, and it only seemed to last ten to twenty pages. For about four hundred pages I was trying not to skip to the back to read the ending or kill myself because it was so boring. It was driving me mad, and I seriously considered the choices. The ending wasn't even all that interesting compared to the first book.
The ending seemed somewhat insignificant, though it could be useful for the next two books. It wasn't really all that interesting though. I was very disappointed with this book. Not an ounce of it was at all entertaining. The writing was alright and the author probably thought it was a good plot. I wouldn't recommend continuing the series unless you really want to know what is going to happen. Though it'd probably be easier to just skip ahead to the last book.
