I went to Sears for a garden hose, and while I was walking to the garden department, I happened to pass a display of pillows on sale. Although I wasn't in the market for a new bed pillow, I'm always looking for the "one" that will give me firm comfort. I looked through the bins, squishing, and squeezing each pillow as I rummaged. Finally, I came across the Sealy Posturepedic Extra Firm bed pillow! I couldn't wait to get it home and put my head down on it!
When I removed the plastic, I noticed the casing didn't look like most pillows I've purchased before. This one has what looks like a wide pink satin ribbon surrounding the edges. I took a quick look at the plastic wrapper and it says that the pillow has "2 1/2 inch **gusseted side panels for maximum support". Well... okay, if you say so! I don't know what that means, but it sounds good!
My pillow cases fit more snugly on the new pillows, but with a little maneuvering I got them on straight. As for my pillow shams... that's a different story. It's REALLY a snug fit! Talk about stuffed! But the best part is the cushy feeling as I lay my head down on this overstuffed, (yet firm) pillow! It's recommended for 'side' sleepers, but I don't think it matters what position you sleep in... it's heaven! And the best part is it's washable and hypoallergenic!
The stuffing material is made from Polyester fiber, and the pillow measures 20" X 28". The cover is made from 100% cotton, 300 thread count. I'm not sure how long the Polyester will last before it starts to go flat, but I'm lovin' it now! Can't wait 'til bedtime! (Oh yeh... I DID get that garden hose!)
