Wet N Wild Glassy Gloss

Product Description:

"Ultra-glossy, sheer gel adds high glassy shine with a hint of color in an oh-so-lickable furity flavor. Enriched with vitamins, nutrients, oils, and antioxidants to moisturize while keeping lips soft and supple".

The packaging and look of the gloss is deceiving. The shades look very pigmented, but when it's applied to your lips there's barely if any actual color. If you are looking for a "makeup" look this is not the product for you, but if you prefer a natural look with a hint of shine that is exactly what you will get.

I personally found the texture to be a bit thick and tacky on my lips. With that said the gloss is very moisturizing and would be a nice replacement for your usual chapstick. It also has a nice fruity scent. The packaging is a squeeze tube that has a hole on the tip. The applicator tip is flat and curved on the edges, not a rounded dome like the carmex brand tube.

Shades(I have noticed the shades are changed/swapped out for new ones from time to time):

-309A/Through the looking glass(clear shimmer)

-310A/This too shall pass(Pearly pink)

-311A/Glass confusion(Soft pink)

-312A/Glass is in session(Bright pink)

-313A/Glass-t off(Red)

-318a/Brazen Berry(Berry)

The gloss is very shiny and gives your lips a wet look as opposed to glittery. It could also be useful to apply over the top of a matte lipstick or with a lipliner to add color.

My Final Thoughts:

I wouldn't recommend this gloss if you want a "made up" look for makeup purposes, but to add moisture and shine to dull lips it would do the trick. I also think this would be a good introduction product to a young girl or pre-teen that wants to start wearing makeup, but is too young for full cosmetics yet. This gloss would allow her to feel like she is being given the privilege to wear makeup, and as a parent you can feel ok about it because it is sheer and does not resemble lipstick.

This might also make a nice stocking stuffer or little "thank you" gift for a friend since it's not very pigmented even those who don't wear makeup can still wear it.

The gloss comes in a 0.4 oz squeeze tube & costs around $2.00 at most drug stores
