I recently decided that i would treat myself to a new camera. Rather than buying a compact Digital Camera i decided to go for a Digital SLR. I am not a professional photographer but i do know a little bit about cameras.
The Nikon D60 is one of the newest in Nikon's line of Digital SLR cameras. It is as feature rich and easy to use as any of the higher end products and gives absolutely fantastic shots. It has a 10.2 megapixel resolution and also a self cleansing digital sensor, meaning that you get perfect pictures every time. The standard lens that it comes with has great use in any number of situations as it is slightly wider angle than those of its competition without compromising on zoom distance. It has hundreds of features, too many to name them all, but the ones that stand out for me are the Aperture and Shutter speed settings. Out of all the cameras i tried this was by far the most intuitive and responsive feature.
I have had the camera for a couple of months, and just by playing with the features i have managed to take some stunning photos. It really is such an easy camera to use and anyone can pick it up and feel like a professional with very little effort.
