I received a .05 oz (1.5 g) sample of this a few days ago. I have been using daily since. I love the smell. It reminds me of Juicy Fruit chewing gum. When I first got this in the mail, I was using it multiple times during the day. While you can also use it that way, it was developed as a night treatment. Now that I know that, I primarily use it at nighttime.

The product has patented dehydrated marine collagen-filling spheres in it which penetrate the skin on contact in order to rehydrate and plump from the inside out. In addition, there are patented dehydrated hyaluronic acid-filling spheres. Hyaluronic acid is an interesting ingredient because of its' unique humectant abilities. According to Fusion Beauty, these spheres absorb 50x their weight in water. Thereby, filling lip lines in, adding volume to the lips. In fact, they claim that this gloss causes your lips to swell for hours after application.

Onto the real question at hand: Does it work? I have smallish lips. I haven't noticed a big difference in volume at all. I asked a friend one day if my lips looked any different. They said that my bottom one looked a little fuller. They didn't think the top one looked any different. When I asked, I wasn't wearing any product. I applied it the night before as per the directions. I find the name of the lipgloss to be misleading. It does not make my lips extra large or even large (or medium for that matter). I find this to just be a nice clear lipgloss, nothing more, nothing less. If anyone has tried lip plumpers before they may notice that some of them burn, like DuWop Lip Venom. After applying this gloss, I noticed a faint tingle, a pleasant buzzing. The taste of this is slightly sweet. It's supposed to have a spearmint flavor, but it's very, very subtle. It has a doe-foot applicator wand. The gloss gives a reflective shine to your lips. You can really amp it up if you add more.

Would I purchase this when I run out of this sample size? I wouldn't, which is unfortunate since I like this! The reason why has nothing to do with the fact that I don't think it does what it says. It has to do with its' exorbitant price! A .29 oz size sells for $50 on Sephora's site as well as on Fusion's. I would definitely buy this for $5.00. Anything past $10.00 is really pushing it though with this one!
