My new kitten, Maurice, is eleven weeks old. When we were stocking up on all of the items you need for a kitten such as food, toys and kitty litter we decided to pick up a three pack of Catmilk made by Whiskas. I have heard that milk is not good for a cats stomach, and I didn't want the little guy to feel excluded at breakfast. I give both of my dogs a dish of milk every morning. I have been doing this as long as I have had the dogs, because we bottle fed our redbone ( his mommy died when we was a few days old) and the redbone expects milk, if he doesn't have his breakfast he pouts...
Whiskas cat milk is lactose reduced to help prevent digestive issues with cats. It contains calcium and malt, a source of vitamins. It apparently is pretty yummy, my little kitty loves catmilk by Whiskas.
Each box is 6.75 fl ounces, it is a small box, but it is a decent size for feeding a kitten. It is available in the pet aisle of most grocery stores and of course pet stores. When feeding catmilk by Whiskas it needs to be at room temperature, but any usnused portion should be refridgerated.
I would recommend this product to anyone who feeds milk to their cats. My only complaint is the boxes are semi flimsy, so I pour the catmilk into a small pitcher to avoid future messes from the flimsy box it comes in.
