I have four children. I KNOW diapers. Four kids times three years for each child equals 12 years of diapers! Now that I sit here to figure it out, I've changed about 30, 000 diapers between the four of them. With my first child, I bought the more expensive diapers. I thought cost equaled quality so I went for the best for my baby's bottom. After my second child was born, we moved within driving distance of a Wal-Mart where I could do our weekly shopping. I was surprised to find they carried a diaper brand I had not seen before. The brand was White Cloud. They were less expensive than the more well-known brands and just slightly above the very inexpensive lower quality brands, you know are going to leak on you, that you buy when you're on your last few dollars for the week.
I was pleasantly surprised. The outer covering was more cloth-like similar to the higher cost brands. I like that. I don't like that plastic-type feel outer covering on diapers. I wondered if they'd leak, but they didn't. In fact, the absorption of White Cloud Diapers was better than the more expensive brands I'd tried previously. I wondered if they would "gel" up inside once wet, which I don't like, like another well-known brand. They didn't.
So, here we have diapers that are less expensive for our tight budget, easily attainable at your local Wal-Mart, and absorb just as good, and better in some cases, than the more expensive brands. Why wouldn't I choose White Cloud over the other brands?
