I use deodorant for the purpose of keeping my pits dry. I don't have smelly pits (and thank goodness for that!!!) but it really is bothersome to have wet pits during the hot summer months. Living here in Dubai has proven that point. No matter how thin a shirt one wears ion this part of the world, you will still get wet armpits. with 50 degrees celcius, who wouldn't?

I am quite picky with deodorants because my only reason is to have dry armpits so I don't get embarrassed when I need to raise my arms. I bought this powder deodorant because I have seen liquid roll-ons and the pasty ones but have never seen powdered deodorants before. So, I grabbed the Block and White Whitening and Anti-Perspirant deodorant powder off the shelf and went straight to the counter to pay my loot. I have been using this for half a year now and the long summer has passed and is again approaching but I never had problem with the powder deodorant. It left my armpits dry and fresh smelling (and slightly whiter too! remember, it is a whitening deodorant as well!!!).

It comes in several scents but I got the Flower Dream scent. It does not smell like flowers at all, more like a baby powder scent. There's also the original which I have not tried yet. It is packed in a plastic bottle approximately 3 inches high and 25 grams per bottle. It also has the roller tip just like the liquid deodorants. Ingredients are alum, talc, aluminum chlorohydrate, silica, allantoin, citric acid and many more.
