I have been blessed by two beautiful nieces and 1 handsome nephew. When I get to babysit (which is rare cause my mother always steals them) I like to have something for them to play with. To be honest it's just as fun for me as it is them. I remember having one when I was young.

This is a machine that is ran off batteries. It comes with pieces of what is similar to posterboard. Instead of buying the refill kits that can get expensive I get the poster board and cut them into small squares. It also comes with a few different colors of non-toxic florescent paint. If you want more colors I get them at almost any type of art store. It's also fun to add glitter which comes with the kit, but I always keep extra on hand and different colors.

This can be messy so make sure that you spread out some newspapers on the table. I usually do mine on the back porch just to be safe. I like that it 's pretty quick clean-up and jus requires a few wipes with a paper towel.

You put the carboard in the middle and turn it on. It has 3 different speeds that make different size swirls. Add a few drops of the paint and it basically creates the masterpiece for you. My nieces like to red and green around Christmas time and orange with black around halloween.

Something else that is great for all the scrapbookers out there. They make a great background. I usually end up using the one that the kids don't like. I got mine from my mother so I am not sure of the cost, but they have them at Micheal's.
