We are always looking at the "check engine light" when it comes on, thinking there has to be something wrong! With the CodeKey you can solve that mystery. It works on cars, and light trucks, both domestic and foreign, years 1996 and newer. It is so easy to use that you don't need to be a mechanic, or pay those high computer readouts at the garages. The CodeKey lessens the fear of taking your car/truck to be repaired, when you have an idea of the problem.

The" check engine light" comes on when there is problem with your vehicle not performing well. This could be from emissions problems, to lack of power, to hard starting, or other issues. If this light is on, you need to have the handy CodeKey unit to check the Trouble Code Number that is sent to your car/truck computer. All vehicles have the same code numbers if they are from 1996 and newer. All you do is plug into the vehicles computer, press read, to get the code number. The LCD displays the code and discription of what the code means. Once you get the repair done, all you have to do is hit the erase button on the CodeKey unit. You can always erase the code before repair, but the" check engine light" will return. Included with the unit is a detailed manual that explains its use. It's also small enough ( size of my hand) to keep in your car or glovebox.

With mechanics in my house, they are always in need of this useful unit. Good thing-Good price!!
