Who can resist Winnie the Pooh? All four of my children grew up with and loved Winnie the Pooh. Now, my little grandson who is nineteen months old enjoys the character. His nursery theme was Pooh. I bought this wagon set for him when he was about one year old and he continues to play with it. Not only is it fun to play with but it is also eductaional.
Fisher Price is the maker of this toy therefore I knew it had to be well constructed. I was happy to see that it was and still is a sturdy product made of wood and heavy duty plastic. The wagon comes with twenty four wooden blocks that are colorful and have pictures, letters, and words on all the sides. The handles are made out of heavy duty plastic and so is the Pooh figure on top of the wagon.
I especially love this wagon as it is so versatile. If you push the Pooh figure on top of the wagon down, he sings and he also asks you questions about the blocks. when you push the stack of books down, it sings the ABC song for you. My little grandson has loved music ever since he was born . He sways back and forth to these songs.
The wagon also helps little ones who are beginning to walk. My grandson would hold onto the handle and try to walk. He had other walking toys but he especially loved pulling this wagon all over my house. He also tried to sit inside of it but he was too big to do so. We did however spend many a time improving our fine motor skills while we stacked the blocks on top of one another. We also practiced our ABC song as well as learning our letters.
I am extremely impressed at how this toy makes learning both fun and educational. It has also let my grandson use his imagination as he builds things with the blocks. This wagon gets and A+ from me. I highly recommend it to other families with little children!
