I got the opportunity about a month ago to get 2 trial issues of Women's Health Magazine. Both issues arrived in my mailbox a few days ago.
The cover of both issues was well layed out with catchy article titles ranging from "fat burning exercises" to "spicing up your sex life". I was interested!
For the most part the articles were very insightful and even comical at times. I highly recommend the survival tactics for shark attacks listed in the April issue. I'm scared to death of sharks, but it even gave me a giggle at the end.
There was the occasional bore of a read I encountered, but with a magazine packed with so many articles it is to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised however at how many useful coupons I came across in the advertisements as well. Coupons are typically rare in these types of magazines. Well, useful ones anyway.
Overall, Women's Health ended up being a pretty good publication. I'm already considering paying for a subscription.
