I bought this along with two other DVDs to start getting in shape for my wedding. Previously, I had pretty much never worked out.
The front of this DVD makes it look a little hardcore, so I was nervous to try it at first, but after doing it for a while, I can say it is my favorite of the three wedding workout DVDs I bought.
There are several options. You can follow a plan based on what kind of dress you are wearing, where they give you a workout for each day of the week, or you can customize a workout, adding warmup, cardio, upper, lower, abs, and cool down as you need to make the workout as long as you want and focusing more or less on certain workouts. I've been customizing just using one segment of each. It turns into about a 45 minute workout. I would do the plan, but I've been alternating my three DVDs I bought, so I can't do this one every day. I might start to incorporate the plans on an every-other-week basis soon though.
I think this is just the right level of difficulty. I can make it through it without feeling like I'm about to die, but I definately do get my workout in. Some of the moves are a little hard for me, but I'm getting better. The workouts are fun, and they don't get boring. You get to do a broad range of moves inspired by boxing, kickboxing, and kayaking.
The instructor is motivational. She makes me laugh a little because she seems so tough and reminds me of someone from the Sopranos, but she's not at all annoying or boring, and she's easy to keep up with.
If you are looking to buy just one wedding workout DVD, this is the one to buy.
