I can't say enough good things about this toy! The only 'bad' thing about it is that it played a large role in making my daughter walk at 9 months! She LOVED to turn the page and listen to the sounds it made. It has a 'hiding place' for her snacks too! My daughter is a very active 2 year old and still enjoys playing with this table on occasion. Although the legs come off so it can be played with at floor level, we rarely used it this way.
This toy has it all. Children learn motor skills such as opening/shutting, turning a page, pushing buttons, sliding a knob & spinning a 'tube'. Not to mention that they can hold onto it to stay standing, learn to pull up, and cruise around the table. They learn about shapes, colors, opposites, and numbers. I don't believe in spending a fortune in toys, but I would pay more than $20 for this toy any day of the week.
