Our local news station does a program every week called "As seen on TV". They take a product that advertised on television and try it out there in the newsroom on camera. Then they rate whether they believed the product done it's job or not. When they gave the Downy Wrinkle Releaser a "Yes" I knew right then it would be in my buggy the next trip to the store. I hate to Iron. I don't have enough room in my house for an ironing board to be set up at all times so any short cut is great with me.
The Downy Wrinkle Releaser is designed to smooth away wrinkles and reduce static cling. I am not so sure that it works well enough to replace the iron of course but when you dont have time to iron something and if you arent going to a ballroom dance then it will suffice. The bottle I bought is a 16.9 fl oz spray bottle. You hang the piece of clothing up, spray it with a sweeping motion 6-10 inches away from the fabric. Then tug on the fabric and let it dry. You can also use this as a starch while ironing. I would recommend this to someone in a hurry for a quick fix with no time to iron.
