Alright well I really do enjoy using the x box 360 controllers. It is hard to review a 360 controller without pinning it against the PS3 controller. Although the style and gameplaying ability of the 360 controller is higher than a PS3 in my opinion there are some features that take the 360 controller down in quality. First off the initial price of the controller is high and also has not dropped down at all. The controller for the price is not as durable as I would like. I own 4 controllers and of the four 2 of them have had problems with the battery holder in the back. One of the controllers the back completely broke and previous to rigging up a system using a elastic and tin foil the controller was 60 bucks flushed down the toilet. The other ccontroller often jars loose on the back turning the controller off when the batteries are still full, annoying! Finally the thrid problem is a "A" button that sticks also very annoying. These controllers also fly through batteries, obviously a duracell will last longer but cheap batteries will last you 2-3 hours of gaming tops. A added cost of buying the rechargable battery pack will eliminate both the back holder breaking and the added cost of hundreds of batteries. There is a cord option for a cheap alternative but aside from better game play configuration there are a lot of hidden costs and annoying problems that microsoft gets away with.
