My son mentioned he would like a Yada Yada for his birthday, I had never heard of this toy and he showed me it in the Argos book, the Yada Yada is a small device which records your voice and by the turn of a button changes your voice, so as he hadn't really asked for much for his birthday I didn't really mind spending the £9.99 for this toy.
They are available in blue and white, black and white and red and white, I picked the black and white one, the packaging is clear and see through enabling the yada yada to be seen, it is quite small and slim, it reminded me of a mobile phone but without all the buttons, anyway like with most toys the packaging is quite hard to open, but once inside you can find the yada yada and the instruction leaflet, although this is not really needed as this little gadget is simple to use.
The yada yada has three buttons on, "say it" "play it" and "warp it", hold "say it" to record your voice, then hold "play it" to hear what you have recorded, then the warp button needs to be turned to warp what you have just recorded, it's that simple. When warped your voice will go from squeaky to husky.
While my son has had fun with this gadget over the past few days, I cant see him bothering with it for to much longer as there isn't a lot to keep him occupied, well thats my opinion! I think this toy is small, not very interesting and overpriced, not recommended.
