My husband and I belong to the Book of the Month club. We get a new book each month for 9.95. Well, this month we received the "Y'ALL COME EAT" with the Dean Brothers cookbook.

This is a great cookbook if you like down home cooking. There are 6 different sections in the book, such as "Gathering 'Round the Table" with such recipes as "Bacon wrapped Chicken Breasts with Chile Cheese Sauce", and "Red Potato and Green Bean Saute". Then there is "Sunday Dinner's and More". This section contains recipes such as: Mama's fried chicken, Hoecakes, Quick pickled Cucumber, Tomato and Onion Salad. The next section is "Y'all Come On Over" and it contains things like: Crab eggs benedict, Fresh Fruit salad with creamy custard sauce. Then there is "Saturday night" which contains Pesto shrimp salad, and Grillades and Grits. There are several other sections like "Sweet endings"; "Pack it up and Go"; and Join in the Fun";

We have tried some of these recipes all ready and they are great and easy to fix. They don't require weird ingredients that you have to go all over town for!

They include moments with Mama Dean and share family pictures. This is really a great cookbook. I do wish that they would fix the book so that the sectios were easier to get to, there are no indentions or anything to differintiate beween the sections. But other than that this is a great book and happy cooking!
