I have been coloring my hair for about three years now. I'm not sure that when I started I really needed to. But, I have a sister who loves to tell people bluntly what they need to do for themselves. So, in any case I listened to her. The reason that I am saying this is, start coloring your hair only when you think that you actually need to because once you start you have to continue. It would just be too much to grown out. In any case, once you have decided to start it is very hard to find a product and color that you need. I decided that since I am a stay at home mom - money could be best spent elsewhere. I actually have two friends that are hairdressers and they said that if you are going to get just a color, no highlights, then do it yourself. They thought that going to a hairdresser just for color was not feasible. So my journey began to find a good color and product. I tried everything and I would find one that I liked and then I would try it the next month and it never seemed to satisfy me two months in a row. Then one day, about a year ago, I had admired this other mom's hair. I figured she went to a hairdresser. I was surprised that she said that she did it herself. I asked her what she bought and I have never looked back. I love it. It makes your hair vibrant, easy to manage and the color actually holds. It is Feria by Loreal. I didn't mention a color because I like to switch it up. They have quite a few browns in the same family. Sometimes I go a little darker, redder, or blonder. It is a great product. I highly recommend it.
