My youngest son isn't a great Scooby Doo fan however that didn't stop him from adding the Scooby doo snackin' action game to his Christmas list, which he was delighted to find that Santa had left him the game. Once all the pressies had been open he was really eager to play his new game.

So once we establised that the game is for 2-4 players we opened the green cardboard box to find lots of different coloured plastic bones (Scooby snacks) one round purple plastic stand and a round cardboard playing board with Scooby Doo pictured on with a great big smile on his face, wearing a chefs hat with Scooby snacks in the background. Also in the box is a moving Scooby Doo which takes 3 AA bateries.

The game board is quite easy to set up but the battery compartment is slightly hard to manage, two sections of the moving Scooby need to be opened with a screwdriver for the batteries to be inserted. Once this is done each player should choose a colour they wish to be, then take six Scooby snacks of that colour and place them on the board, then the button on Scooby's head should be pressed and Scooby Doo will start to vibrate all around the board throwing the snacks everywhere.

The point of the game is to collect all six of your coloured snacks first and then you are the winner, however there is a small twist to the game... once each player collects their snacks they must place them on the table, leaving them free for the other players to collect them and return them to the board.

When I first read the instructions I thought that this would be pretty boring, but actually is was really lots of fun, I must admit that I was as bad as the kids with this game. After about four or fives games we did get slightly fed up, but after a while we did play it again. Thats the only bad point it didn't hold my sons attention for to long, but he did want to return and play it again so I hope his enjoyment of this game continues, we did have a few laughs while playing it. I should add that the game is suitable for 5 years and above, it easy really easy and enjoyable to play.
