My parents went to Hong Kong last month, and they brought back this nougat, Golden Boronia nougat with them. The nougat comes in three variants: Peppermint, Cappuccino, and Green Tea. It’s packed in one large plastics bag by Aji-Ichiban, a pretty well-known company packing for chocolate, candy, and snacks. The nougat itself, however, is made in Australia. One of the ingredients is egg white, and I think this is the substance that makes this product different with any other brand. When I first tried it, I tried to chew it, and of course it didn’t work because nougat is not made for chewing. So I just let it in my mouth for couple of minutes, then it will melt itself. One biggest thing I like about this nougat is the flavor of the roasted almond. When it comes to the almond part (which is put rather deep inside the nougat, and takes a while to taste it), I feel like I never taste almond this good before. The best almond is here! I like the enjoyment of waiting to the almond part… My fave flavor is green tea, and I think this is a very rare variant for nougat. I would love to purchase it if only it were sold here in my country. Unfortunately, it’s not available here.
