Zack & Wiki is probably the best game no one knows about for the Wii. But it can be hard, really hard.
This is a puzzle solving game, pure and not so simple. Zach wants to be a pirate and his flying monkey friend Wiki is here to help him to be the best he can be.
The game is made up of a series of puzzles. You have to do a certain set of tasks in a certain order to complete the puzzle and move on to the next. The puzzles are very fun and often very challenging. Luckily, you have the ability to use hints in the game to help you with the next task. Sometimes these hints (a screenshot of something you need to understand) can be just as puzzling as the puzzle.
I got stuck a little over a third of the way into the game. For a long time I had no interest in going back and facing the same puzzle. Eventually I did go back and finished that level and got through a few more before getting stuck again. Keep in mind that I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. My experience has been one of frustrating fun. I get frustrated, but I keep going back for more.
It is extremely rewarding to finish a puzzle and the game's storyline and characters are interesting and funny. So if you like solving puzzles, this might be the game for you.
