I live with three dogs, so sometimes my home has extra unpleasant odors. Because of multiple chemical sensitivities, products like Oust and Neutra-Air tend to provoke allergic reactions in my head. When I saw an ad on TV for Zero Odor, a product that promised to simply remove odors, and not cover them with another scent that lingers for hours, I decided to try it. The cost, $39.99 for a 22 ounce trigger spray bottle, 8 ounce and 4 ounce spritz bottles, and a big 66 ounce refill jug, sounded reasonable if the product worked, and it came with a moneyback guarantee.
It arrived very quickly, for something ordered from the television. I sprayed some into the air in my kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, and there was a burst of fresh odor that the Zero Odor maker describes as a "tracer fragrance" which vanished in less than a minute, and then -- nothing. No particular scent, and no cooking scent in the kitchen, no more "bathroom scent, " and even the faint dog scent in the bedroom was gone. The next day my large dog was caught in a sudden rainstorm, so I had the opportunity to give it a tougher challenge: it passed; Zero Odor removed all trace of the "wet dog" smell. It also removed the smell that had been absorbed into my wood floor after a doggy "accident, " something no other cleaner could do.
Zero Odor is non-toxic, and safe for pets, children, and people with allergies. It works by bonding with "odor molecules" (probably mainly carbon compounds) and stopping them from producing odors, and Zero Odor works in the air, on fabrics, and on any surface. It may not get rid of every bad odor, but it works on dog-related odors, kitchen smells, garbage smells, and according to a neighbor who tried mine, litter box and diaper pail odors as well. I got it about 5 months ago, and use it almost daily, and still have some left, so I think Zero Odor is a Big Value. I've given this a 5 out of 5, and if I could give it a 10 out of 5, I would. If you have odors and want them gone instead of covered up, I highly recommend this product!
