I think there are two kinds of people. Ones who like the smell of ginger and those who don't. Don't get me wrong - I love to eat ginger in my food. Yet for whatever reason, I don't love ginger body products.
When it was time to try this aromatically spicy body wash, I was a bit unenthused. I sure wasn't excited. Ginger? Bluh..
The size I have here is 1.0 fl. oz. / 29.5 mL. It is a small bottle from the brand's Essential Body Kit. On this size, there is no applicator or pump. You just turn it over and the body wash comes out. I find this to be problematic. If I'm not ultra-careful, it comes out way too quickly.
When I take a whiff from the bottle, I smell orange and ginger. I had a friend smell it, and they had no idea what it smelled like. When I am in the shower soaping up with it, it smells like pure ginger. The ginger root oil in it and steam from my shower make for quite an aromatherapy session.
The wash has a thin to medium consistency. I wouldn't call it thick. The lather is great, scads and scads of bubbles. If it only had a scent that was more to my liking. The whole title of the body gel includes the phrase "Extra Energizing, " before the word, "Citrus." I couldn't fit that phrase due to the character restriction. I wanted to note that I didn't feel any more energized from using it.
